It's been quite a month.
Emma and I spent our last couple of days in Paris mostly just wandering around the city. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Paris is a love/hate type of place for most people, and I understand why. During the weekday, the wear on pedestrians and motorists is evident. At night, though, Paris truly shines.
One day we wandered the catacombs (heavy, but worth it.) Another, Sacré-Cœur followed by snack searching. Putting my rusty french to work was an amusing adventure.
It feels strange being home now while she continues on. But she's due for a solo adventure, and I can't wait to see what the UK & southern Ireland look like through her experiences.
